West Lothian Love Island winner Paige Turley urges fans to get moles checked after routine examination causes concern

Love Island winner Paige Turley has urged Scots to get their their moles checked out after she had one removed.

The Fauldhouse influencer underwent a health check in January and medics were concerned about some of the results.

Paige, 25, told fans on Instagram on Wednesday that she'd since been back to hospital to have a procedure to take away the mole and have it examined.

She revealed there were no further concerns for her health as the results had come back clear - and she encouraged followers to make an appointment if they had any worries of their own.

Thanking fans for their support, Paige said: "Thanks so much for the messages send wishes after my CT scan guys. After another follow-up appt getting a mole removed results have come with little to worry about.

"If you're concerned about your moles or skin lesions, you can book an appointment."

The West Lothian singer shared clips of herself at a doctor's appointment before the procedure and footage of her on a bed at the Pall Mall clinic in Manchester, lifting her top up ahead of the operation.

She added: "If you're concerned about your moles or skin lesions, you can book an appointment at @pallmallmedical with one of their specialist Dermatologists.

'The assessment will take up to 30 minutes to perform a full visual examination on up to 3 moles or skin lesions with dermoscopy to look deeper if needed!"

Paige, who won Love Island in 2020 with boyfriend Finley Tapp, last updated fans about her health in May 2022 when she went for minor surgery.

She revealed at the time that she was resting in bed following the operation with Finn acting as a nurse as she sipped on some Lucozade, which her mum 'swore by'.

She added: 'When I was younger this was a saving grace for when I was ill... no matter what was wrong, could have been a sickness bug, ear infection, broken bone, anything and my mum swore by it."

Last month we reported Paige and Finn feel ready to give up their Love Island crown after three years as the ITV2 reality show returns to South Africa for the first time since they won.

Paige, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent at just 15 years old, coupled up with Finn on the fifth day of their series and have been together ever since.

She added: "It's felt like it's flown by, but also been a lifetime."
