West Lothian Love Island star Paige Turley issues life update to fans following hiatus

West Lothian local star Paige Turley has issued a personal life update to her social media, after taking part in an online blackout over the last month to deal with some offline issues.

The Love Island Winter edition winner returned to Instagram on Sunday night with a video talking directly to camera on her story, addressing the reasons she has been away from the spotlight recently.

Posting to her Instagram story, Paige said: "Okay guys, I am coming out of my Instagram hole. I have been off Instagram for so b***** long, I obviously went in for the operation, took some time off and just didn't come back for a bit.

"It was quite liberating but also quite boring. It felt like the longest month of my life, but I'm back!

"I've went and had my hair done, got the eyebrows done and feeling much, much better!"

The influencer also spilled some gossip on her thoughts on the newest season of Love Island, as she continued: "Can we also just talk about Love Island?

"They're sending in Gemmas ex? Like, oh my god! And poor Liam, he was the nicest wee scone ever.

"Bless him. But yeah, f****** wild!"

The Scottish beauty has been keeping up to date with the latest happenings on Love Island, as unlucky lover Liam Llewellyn left the show late last week to focus on his mental wellbeing.

The Welshman announced to islanders on the show that he would be heading back home after less than a week in the villa, citing he hadn't been 100 per cent himself in the villa.

He said at the time: "I've been thinking long and hard about this. It's not a spur-of-the-moment type thing. So I've made a decision that I am going to leave the villa. It's been a breeze, it's been an absolute ball, you are all unreal."

Love Island resumes on Monday, June 13 at 9pm on ITV2.
