West Lothian Love Island star Paige Turley fans' concern after hospital surgery snap

Scottish Love Island star Paige Turley has got fans worried after she was absent from social media for a few weeks, and then reappearing in a hospital gown.

West Lothian beauty Paige became the first ever Scottish winner of Love Island in 2020, alongside boyfriend Finley Tapp.

The reality tv star posted a picture of herself in a hospital gown and a 'Yoda' filter, after receiving what she has claimed was "minor surgery".

In the caption, the star wrote: "Had a few messages asking if everything is ok as we have been a little quiet on socials this week.

"Just a little update, I had to go in for very minor surgery so I'm currently on bed rest whilst Finn plays nurse."

The 24-year-old didn't seem unlike herself as she joked about with the situation, also writing: "Can you hear that? Just a tiny violin being played."

Fans were worried that Paige and Finn's relationship may be on the rocks, as her beau had been extremely quiet on social media while she travelled back to her native Scotland alone.

One concerned fan wrote on social media: "I love them so much, I really hope nothing happened."

Another added: "Same, they are my fave love island couple, but something is offish though. Paige being in Scotland on her own for nearly two weeks is throwing me off and looking like something is up between them.

"Possibly they are working through a rough patch."

But a close source told The Sun : "This is 100 per cent false, and not the case at all. They are very much still together and happier than ever."

Finn even sent his lover a bunch of beautiful flowers to say 'get well soon', that Paige posted on her Instagram story last night with a happy-crying emoji.

You can keep up with Paige and her man Finn on social media, where they regularly post loved-up photos together in their new home of Manchester.
