A West Lothian junior band are enjoying a busy period in their calendar.
Last week the Newland Junior Band took part in a Spring concert with the Newland Senior Band at a packed Bathgate British Legion.
On Saturday the junior band played a programme of music outdoors at the Bathgate Procession Street Fair, where they played on despite heavy rain.

The band now look forward to taking part in the Bathgate Procession and John Newland Festival on June 1, and then a concert for residents at Whitdale Care Home on June 10.
The band welcomes new brass and percussion players of all abilities, aged eight and above. They rehearse in the Bathgate Partnership Centre on Monday evenings.
