Trouble has flared inside a West Lothian prison holding violent criminals hours before the funeral of a key figure in a gangland feud.
The Record reports how HMP Addiewell saw Daniel clan associates Robert McCann and Thomas Frail both attacked with blades on Thursday.
It comes as the notorious Lyons gang prepared for Andrew Gallacher's service on Friday.

Gallacher, 43, was a top boss of the crime group and died suddenly in his cell in the prison last month.
He suffered a minor head injury when Frail attacked him as he carried out maintenance work weeks before he died.
McCann is a close associate Steven "Bonzo" Daniel and has been targeted four times in knife attacks this year.
A source said: "Some inmates took the chance to settle scores for Gallacher to mark his funeral.
"His pals wanted to send a message to anyone who might be glad he's gone."
Frail was ambushed and badly hurt in an attack just two days after being sent back into the prison's mainstream population.
McCann is understood to have suffered a horrific face injury in a separate assault.
The insider added: "It's no surprise this happened as the Lyons got ready to say their final goodbyes.
"His death came as a huge shock to everyone."
A Scottish Prison Service spokesman said: "We don’t comment on individual prisoners.
"However I can confirm there were two incidents at Addiewell Prison.
"They are subject to investigation so it would be inappropriate for us to comment further at this time."
