A local haberdashery and gift shop are contenders to win a national business competition, after being named winners in the regional finals last month.
Keltra Crafts, based in Bathgate, were announced as the Edinburgh winners in the best craft or creative business category at Scotland’s Business Awards.
The regional victory now qualifies them for the grand final at the end of this month.
Tracy Dunn, owner of Keltra Crafts, said: “We really didn’t expect it - the first I heard of the award was a letter through the door saying we had been nominated.
“We had a few mystery shops organised by the awards, and an official visit, and then the winners were decided based on those, plus what customers had said about us.”

Keltra Crafts was nominated by the public to get to the regional finals, and found out they had won at an awards ceremony at the Leonardo Hotel in Edinburgh on Sunday, April 28.
Tracy added: “I was totally over the moon and really quite surprised.”
Tracy - who previously worked as a jewellery designer - started the business with a friend back in 2013 as they thought it would be a good addition to what Bathgate had to offer, and then bought her friend out of the business after a couple of years.
As well as being a haberdashery and a gift shop, Tracey puts on classes at Keltra, in sowing, patchwork, and crochet.
On what winning the overall award would mean, Tracey said: “It would be amazing for a local shop set up by a local girl to win this kind of award - it would be a great reflection on Bathgate.”
The overall winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner at the Glasgow Marriott hotel on Sunday, May 26.
