West Lothian go-karting youngster dreaming of Formula One career

West Lothian has a proud tradition of producing top motor racing drivers – and young go-kart ace Ellis Bell is desperate to add his name to that list.

The 10-year-old from Armadale has his sights set on reaching the very top after tasting success in the Honda Cadets.

The youngster travels across Britain and is currently competing in the UKC Championships as well as recently finishing fifth in the Scottish S Plate national championship.

He’s racked up a string of trophies despite taking up the sport just two years ago .

Mum Kirsty Hosie told the Courier: “He absolutely loves it and his dream is to become a Formula One driver. He’s so passionate about it and he has a real determination to succeed.”

Ellis would like to thank the Cafe Royal Bar in Harthill for their sponsorship and Arnold Clark group for their generous donation.

If you would like to sponsor Ellis, please email kirsty1208@hotmail.co.uk.
