West Lothian gets new Five Guys as fast food outlet opens in shopping complex
The new 82-seater site, spanning 3,700 sq. ft located on the bustling Almondvale Avenue opened on September 13, bringing the brand’s fast-growing portfolio in Scotland to a total of 12 restaurants.
Founded in Virginia in 1986 and launched in the UK in 2013 in London’s Covent Garden, the restaurant brand has amassed a loyal fanbase – with superstar fans including Ed Sheeran, Mollie King and Maya Jama.
Visitors to the shopping centre can now enjoy their famous freshly made burgers, made from Scottish Beef, as well as hotdogs, fries, milkshakes and bottomless soft drinks.
They will also be able to enjoy the 250,000 possible burger order combinations, as well as the over 1,000 possible ways to customise a milkshake at the new site.
Five Guys prides itself on using high-quality, fresh produce prepared and cooked to order. There are no freezers or microwaves in any Five Guys restaurants.
Patrick Robbertze, Centre Director at The Centre, Livingston, said: "We are delighted to welcome the famous Five Guys restaurant chain to The Centre, Livingston and the creation of 42 new jobs in the community.
“It’s a fantastic addition to our existing food offering and we’re confident our shoppers will love it!”
