West Lothian garden centre helps raise £1 million for Teenage Cancer Trust

Dobbies Garden Centres have hit a major fundraising milestone, raising over £1 million for Teenage Cancer Trust - with Dobbies Livingston raising a total of £36,000.

Teenage Cancer Trust is Dobbies’ National Charity Partner, having established a formal partnership in 2019 and collaborating on a number of projects since 2014.

The group is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people aged 13 to 24 diagnosed with cancer.

Graeme Jenkins, CEO at Dobbies, said: “Our team members in Livingston have raised an incredible amount of money which will make a real difference, and we are looking forward to continuing these efforts in the new year.”

Kate Collins, chief executive, Teenage Cancer Trust, said: “Raising £1 million is no mean feat - it’s an incredible achievement and the team at Dobbies should feel very, very, proud of themselves.”
