Broxburn footballer Liam Henderson featured for Empoli as they picked up a stunning away win over giants Juventus in Italy's Serie A on Saturday.
The 25-year-old, who started his career with Broxburn United before rising through the ranks with Celtic, featured as a substitute for the newly promoted minnows as they grabbed a famous 1-0 victory over the 36-time Italian champions.
Henderson became the first Scot in 32 years to feature in the Italian top flight when he played for Hellas Verona two seasons ago and last year helped guide Lecce into the top flight - before electing to sign for Empoli in the summer.
The former Hibs man initially made the move to Italy three-and-a-half years ago after struggling to break into the Celtic first team, joining Serie B side Bari and has since racked up over 100 appearances across the top two divisions along with two promotions from the second tier.
