Police in Livingston rushed to a two-car collision on Wednesday morning that was caused as a result of one driver not de-frosting their windscreen.
Officers at Scotland's road policing unit took to Twitter to post an image of the incident and warned drivers to properly de-frost their cars before setting off during the colder winter months.
The image shows a Vauxhall having collided with the back of a lorry, suffering heavy damage to the front of the vehicle.

The car is also visibly condensated and a closer image of the windscreen shortly after police arrived shows just how difficult it would have been for the driver to see out of.
Officers added that there were no injuries as a result of the collision and the driver has been reported to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.
They tweeted: "Tis the season of frosted windscreens & its vital to be able to see the road ahead when driving!
