A brace of West Midlands architecture practices have merged.
West Hart Partnership has joined forces with Corstorphine & Wright in an undisclosed deal to become the latest studio to join the Warwick-headquartered group.
West Hart will retain its base in Tamworth while co-founders and directors Steve West and Jim Hart will join the wider group's senior leadership team.
Corstorphine & Wright now has ten offices employing more than 200 staff across the UK including in Stourbridge and Birmingham which opened in 2015.
West Hart was founded in 1999 and now employs 12 staff with specialist experience in the healthcare sector, working with councils and primary healthcare providers.
Mr Hart commented: "West Hart Partnership has steadily grown over its 22 years. We have been blessed with incredibly loyal staff and clients alike.
"We are extremely excited by this announcement and the opportunities the merger will provide in terms of greater capabilities for decision making and design solutions.
"By joining Corstorphine & Wright, we can offer clients an even greater level of service."
Corstorphine & Wright's group director Paul Turner added: "The company prides itself on its commitment to internal development and is excited to extend this to our 12 newest members as our teams share their experience and knowledge, further developing the practice's talents and growing our capabilities.
"This is a time to celebrate, the team we have welcomed from West Hart Partnership is incredibly strong and to align that talent with the team we already have is going to present some exciting opportunities, both in what we can deliver and how we can expand our client services."
