West Ham XI vs Leicester: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest today

Jesse Lingard and Jarrod Bowen will be expected to take on the goalscoring burden for West Ham for the remainder of the season in the absence of Michail Antonio, starting with today’s visit of Leicester.

David Moyes confirmed that he would be without the 31-year-old striker after the hamstring injury picked up against Wolves proved to be more severe than initially hoped earlier this week.

Top-four rivals Leicester visit the London Stadium today, with the Hammers also without Declan Rice, who has been captaining the side this season.

The England international suffered a knee ligament injury on international duty and there is no timescale for his return, though those within the medical department are optimistic that it could be around a month.

Moyes said: “He’s got an injury as everybody is aware, we will try to get him back as quickly as we can but we won’t put a timescale on it.”

Angelo Ogbonna has returned to training this week while Arthur Masuaku made his first start since early December at Wolves on Monday.
