West Ham XI vs Hull City: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for tonight

David Moyes will hope the Carabao Cup can provide another injection of optimism at West Ham tonight.

Having started their Premier League campaign with back-to-back defeats, and with more fearsome fixtures to come over the next few weeks, the League Cup may provide some comfort.

A 3-0 win over Charlton last week set up another home tie, this time against Hull City, who overcame Leeds United to reach the third round.

Moyes has a rather top-heavy squad, meaning he's able to rotate and still send out a forward line worth in excess of £100million.

Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson both managed to get their campaigns off to a scoring start against the Addicks last week and will be hoping to continue that form after being named to start at London Stadium on Tuesday night.

Robert Snodgrass was impressive on his return from injury and gets another run out.

Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere was initially named on the bench after a slight ankle problem, only to be promoted to the first XI very late along with teenage defender Harrison Ashby.

Issa Diop and Josh Cullen drop out, with David Martin promoted to the role of substitute.

Aji Alese makes his West Ham debut in defence.

West Ham XI: Randolph, Johnson, Balbuena, Ashby, Alese, Wilshere, Snodgrass, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Haller

Subs: Martin, Trott, Coventry, Longelo, Bowen, Xande Silva

Hull XI: Long, Coyle, Smallwood, Batty, Scott, A Jones, McLoughlin, Fleming, Mayer, Magennis, C Jones

Subs: Ingram, Burke, Wilks, Honeyman, Emmanuel, Samuelsen, Lewis-Potter
