West Ham XI vs Everton: Predicted starting lineup, confirmed team news, latest injury updates today

David Moyes looks to have decided that West Ham can afford to go all out against Everton as they look to put on the pressure in the Premier League top four race.

The former Toffees boss sent his side out very much on the front foot in pursuit of Champions League football at Burnley on Monday.

A 2-1 win - a scoreline which flattered the Clarets - vindicated his approach, but Moyes must balance whether Everton and Carlo Ancelotti will allow the Hammers to be quite so open on Sunday.

Top four rivals Chelsea look odds-on for Champions League qualification after a 2-1 win at Manchester City, though Leicester’s shock 4-2 home loss to Newcastle blew the race wide open.

Moyes hinted in his Friday press conference that he may rotate the starting XI, but has made zero changes.

“I always feel we have players, and we’re starting to get some of them back, that we’ve got more options than we had,” said Moyes.

“It was great we got Said in a position to contribute, Jarrod Bowen is scoring goals, three in five, but we need to keep the options and flexibility of the front players. I want to rotate them at times and I want to make the right choices.

“Fortunately it worked and we got a good result.”

Moyes was coy over whether Declan Rice could return from injury, and the midfielder misses out. Angelo Ogbonna was hopeful he would be able to return from a hamstring problem, and does so.
