West Ham XI vs Bristol City: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for FA Cup game today

Lucas Paqueta and Kurt Zouma start for West Ham against Bristol City in the FA Cup today.

The Hammers's schedule during the first half of the season has been relentless, with Premier League and Europa League campaigns, alongside a run to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

Top-flight sides are pencilled to have a two-week gap between matches this month, with David Moyes's side not due back in action until they visit Sheffield United on January 21 - if they can avoid the need for an FA Cup replay between now and then.

"We've had a busy schedule and the players have been terrific during that," assistant boss Billy McKinlay said on Friday. "We've got a little break coming up afterwards so the gaffer will decide what the team will look like for the game on Sunday, but the squad is looking good."

Michail Antonio is yet to make his return from a knee injury suffered during the November international break, while Nayef Aguerd and Mohammed Kudus are away with their countries ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Starting West Ham XI: Fabianski; Coufal, Zouma, Mavropanos, Emerson; Alvarez, Ward-Prowse; Soucek; Fornals, Bowen, Paqueta

Subs: Areola, Ogbonna, Ings, Cresswell, Benrahma, Cornet, Coventry, Johnson, Mubama

Time and date: 2pm GMT on Sunday, January 7, 2024

Venue: London Stadium
