West Ham XI vs Aston Villa: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup & injury latest for Premier League game

David Moyes has picked from an almost fully-fit squad for Sunday’s trip to Aston Villa.

Vladimir Coufal (groin) and Alex Kral (Covid-19) are fit again with the full-back featuring in the midweek penalty shootout win over Manchester City.

Michail Antonio, Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma, Lukasz Fabianski and Declan Rice were all given the night off as Moyes rotated his team. Ahead of the Premier League clash, the Scot provided a positive injury update.

“In the main, we're getting better,” said Moyes on Friday. “Vladimir Coufal, who had been out previously, got some minutes [versus City].

“Ryan Fredericks is making progress after having a couple of injuries. Alex Kral has returned after isolating, so we're pretty good at the moment, I’ve got to say. We’re in a good place.

“Like everybody, we've got some knocks and niggles and things behind the scenes, but hopefully we'll be fine.”

West Ham XI: Fabianski; Johnson, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Fornals, Benrahma; Antonio.

Subs: Areola, Dawson, Diop, Vlasic, Noble, Masuaku, Coufal, Lanzini, Yarmolenko.

Aston Villa XI: Martinez; Cash, Hause, Konsa, Targett; McGinn, Nakamba, J. Ramsey; Buendia, Watkins, Bailey.

Subs: Steer, Mings, Tuanzebe, Young, A. Ramsey, Chukwuemeka, Archer, Davis, El Ghazi.
