West Ham XI vs Arsenal: Confirmed starting lineup, team news as Jesse Lingard returns for the Hammers

Jesse Lingard returns for West Ham against Arsenal.

The on-loan midfielder missed last weekend’s defeat at Manchester United because he was ineligible but he is back in the team at the London Stadium.

David Moyes has made two changes to the side that lost against United, with Said Benrahma also coming into the team.

Mark Noble and Ben Johnson drop to the bench.

Moyes has gone with the back four of Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell as the full-backs with Criag Dawson and Issa Diop lining up alongside each other in central defence. Lukasz Fabianski is in goal.

Pablo Fornals has failed to recover from the injury that forced him to miss last weekend’s defeat at United. Moyes had hopes the midfielder would be fit.

West Ham line-up: Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell, Soucek, Rice, Lingard, Bowen, Benrahma, Antonio.

Subs: Martin, Trott, Balbuena, Alves, Fredericks, Johnson, Noble, Lanzini, Odubeko.

Sunday 3.00pm, Sky Sports

Venue: London Stadium

Referee: Jonathan Moss
