West Ham will reject all offers from Chelsea FC for Declan Rice before the transfer deadline

West Ham will knock back any attempts from Chelsea to sign Declan Rice before next week's transfer deadline.

Frank Lampard is still keen on bringing the England international back to the club which released him at 14 in a final move to shore up his leaky defence, but with so little time left in the window to replace their star player, the Hammers are refusing to budge.

Hammers manager David Moyes sees Rice, who has captain the Hammers in two of their three League games this season, as a vital part of his plans going forward.

West Ham themselves are yet to add any new faces to the squad which ended last season under Moyes, as the Scot pushes hard to bolster his own back line.

The east Londoners - who face Everton in the Carabao Cup tonight - have long given up their pursuit of Burnley's James Tarkowski but are closing in on a deal for Slavia Prague right-back Vladimir Coufal.
