West Ham vs Wolves: Premier League prediction, TV channel, live stream, time, team news, h2h

West Ham continue their search for a first Premier League win of the season at home to Wolves this afternoon.

The Hammers were unlucky to come away from the Emirates without a point last week, and though defeating Hull in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, they were dealt a blow with David Moyes, Issa Diop and Josh Cullen testing positive for coronavirus ahead of that match.

Assistant manager Alan Irvine has confirmed Moyes will still be in charge this weekend - although from the comfort of his own home.

They come up against a Wolves side with one league win from two after falling marginally short against Manchester City last time out.

Date, time and venue

West Ham vs Wolves is scheduled for a 7pm BST kick-off on Sunday, September 27.

This match will be played behind closed doors at London Stadium with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 6.30pm.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will be able to watch the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Team news

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku, Bowen, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Antonio

Subs: Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Lanzini, Noble, Haller, Johnson, Randolph

Wolves XI: Rui Patricio, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Nelson Semedo, Neves, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Vinagre, Traore, Jimenez, Pedro Neto

Subs: Hoever, Silva, Vitinha, Ruddy, Dendoncker, Shabani, Kilman

Referee: Martin Atkinson

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Wolves

Though West Ham backed up an impressive performance against Arsenal with an even better result against Hull, they come up against a very dangerous Wolves side.

Man City were pushed all the way by a relentless Wolves side, who look as if they mean business once again ahead of another long campaign.

The Hammers are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, and with Diop out I'm anticipating a couple goals for the visitors at least.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

This will be the 66th time the two sides have met in their history, with Wolves narrowly entering as the more successful side.

The home side have won on 29 occasions, as opposed to Wolves' 22 wins, alongside 14 draws.

Wolves have beaten West Ham four times on the bounce, however, including a 2-0 win at the London Stadium last season.
