West Ham vs Rapid Vienna - LIVE!
West Ham continued their impressive start to life in the Europa League by beating Rapid Vienna on Thursday evening.
Declan Rice tapped home shortly before the half-hour mark for his second goal in as many European games and Said Benrahma netted a stylish second in the final minute of second-half stoppage time.
Those efforts secured a second straight win in Group H for David Moyes’ side, who now boast a three-point advantage at the summit ahead of the visit of Belgian side Genk to east London on October 21.
It is now three consecutive victories across all competitions for West Ham, who beat Manchester United in the Carabao Cup before striking late to defeat Leeds in the Premier League last weekend.
The night was only marred by some crowd trouble in the first half at a packed-out London Stadium, which was hosting its first Europa League group stage game.
Objects were thrown between both sets of fans as tempers simmered before a number of Vienna supporters appeared to try and get into the home end after Rice’s goal in the first half.
