Stuart Brennan gives his rundown on the champions' Premier League opener at the London Stadium.
Win, lose or draw?
Hard to see beyond a City win - they played a strong Hammers team in China in pre-season and walked it 4-1, and their recent record in east London is four wins from four, 17 scored and once conceded. They're 1/4 with thepools.com to continue that form.
Who's a good bet for 1st scorer?
Bernardo failed to bag a goal in pre-season, and he started last season with a goal at Arsenal - always a decent shout given his range of goals. His price of 13/2 first scorer and 9/5 anytime is also decent.

Who's on the naughty step? (first card)
City should dominate possession but Otamendi's lack of pace leaves him vulnerable on the counter-attack, and so liable to foul professionally.
Who's on pens?
Sergio Aguero is unlikely to start and if Gabriel Jesus gets the nod he is top of the order after scoring the clincher in the shoot-out at Wembley. He's 7/2 with thepools.com to score first.
Will City keep a clean sheet?
Quite likely, although the defence needs some work after the loss of Kompany. Having said that, both teams to score 'No' is a solid 4/5
