West Ham vs Leicester: Prediction, team news, lineups, live stream, TV, odds – Premier League preview

West Ham may sense an opportunity for a statement win when a Leicester City side licking their wounds.

Back-to-back defeats, against Manchester City and Liverpool, have seen the Foxes stumble somewhat - though still hold a firm grip on the top four.

The Hammers, and Manuel Pellegrini, are again facing questions after a damaging last-minute defeat at Crystal Palace, which has left them one point above the relegation zone.

The game is Saturday, December 28 at 5.30pm GMT.

Team news and lineups

West Ham: West Ham hope goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will be fit to return after three months out with a hip injury. Ryan Fredericks is back after missing the Palace game with suspension.

Aaron Cresswell serves a one-game ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Palace, so Arthur Masuaku is set to come in at left-back for his first Premier League start in over two months.

Leicester: Harvey Barnes may drop back out of the starting XI after facing Liverpool less than two days prior.

Matty James is training after his Achilles problem but remains short of match fitness and is likely to be loaned out in January.

How we think the sides could line up…

West Ham: Fabianski; Fredericks, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Snodgrass, Noble, Rice, Fornals; Antonio, Haller.

Leicester: Schmeichel, Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Barnes, Praet, Tielemans, Maddison, Vardy
