West Ham vs Huddersfield
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: London Stadium
Date: Saturday, 16 March, 2019
Kick-off: 3:00pm GMT
With their short-lived FA Cup campaign long since over, West Ham are in Premier League action over quarter-final weekend as they host rock-bottom Huddersfield at the London Stadium.
The ninth-place Hammers have remained frustratingly inconsistent of late, with a routine win over Newcastle followed by a 2-0 loss to another relegation battler in Cardiff which saw their away woes continue.
However, they will be confident of victory against a Huddersfield team that sit 20th and 16 points adrift of safety with only eight matches remaining having won just three top-flight games in 2018-19.
These are bleak times for the Terriers, whose fortunes are certainly not being aided by a whole host of injury problems.
West Ham vs Huddersfield team news and predicted line-ups
West Ham will be without Andy Carroll against Huddersfield due to an ankle injury, while Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez and Winston Reid all remain sidelined.
Fabian Balbuena has recovered from a knee injury, while Marko Arnautovic will be expected to return to the starting XI after featuring as a half-time substitute against Cardiff last weekend.
West Ham provisional squad: Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Noble, Nasri, Lanzini, Arnautovic, Antonio, Adrian, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Obiang, Snodgrass, Anderson, Hernandez.
Huddersfield are in the midst of a fitness crisis, with only 15 senior players available to train on Thursday.
Adama Diakhaby, Isaac Mbenza and Demeaco Duhaney are all still in the treatment room along with Terence Kongolo, captain Jonathan Hogg, Laurent Depoitre and Danny Williams.
Meanwhile, full-back Erik Durm sustained a small thigh muscle issue on Wednesday and is now also a doubt.
Huddersfield provisional squad: Lossl, Schindler, Jorgensen, Kongolo, Lowe, Smith, Bacuna, Mooy, Billing, Stankovic, Kachunga, Pritchard, Mounie, Grant, Hadergjonaj, Hamer, Puncheon, Daly, Rowe.

Score prediction: West Ham 2-0 Huddersfield
West Ham will be pleased to be back at home after losing four of their last five on the road without scoring and could not ask for a better opponent as they look to move within one point of eighth-place Watford, who are in cup action against Crystal Palace this weekend.
Staying up now looks like mission impossible for depleted Huddersfield, whose only away win of the season came back in November at Molineux.
