The Hammers did not open the scoring until the first minute of stoppage time, when Tomas Soucek swept home from substitute Said Benrahma’s pass with what looked certain to be the decisive goal.
However, Fulham were then awarded a late penalty at the other end, only for Ademola Lookman’s attempt at a Panenka spot-kick to be saved by Lukasz Fabianski in the Hammers goal.
