West Ham vs Everton prediction: Michail Antonio can help continue top four push

West Ham's dream of European football next season is well and truly alive with four games to go but they still have plenty of work to do.

Liverpool are breathing down their necks but defeats for Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur means Champions League hopes are still alive and a consolation Europa League spot is still on the cards too.

Firstly, they will welcome Everton to the London Stadium with the Irons favourites at 5/4 with Betfred while Everton are 9/4 and a draw is 12/5.

To keep their top four fight alive, West Ham will need to complete their first league double over Everton since 1972-73 after they grabbed a 1-0 at Goodison Park back in January.

However, they know historically they will be in with a challenge as Everton have won more Premier League matches overall (26) and more away league games (11) against West Ham than any other side in the competition - an unwelcoming statistic.

To add to the tension, Everton have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League away games against West Ham - winning seven and drawing four - with the Toffees failing to score just once in that run. On the other hand, that defeat came when former Toffees boss David Moyes was in his first stint as West Ham boss back in May 2018.

Tips

  • Michail Antonio to score anytime - 13/8
  • Half-Time/Full-Time (West Ham/West Ham) - 13/5

The Irons have made their mark on many occasions this season in the first-half but have upped a gear or two recently by taking the lead at half-time in seven of their last nine home matches and with striker Michail Antonio back in the attack it is going to be a tough day for Everton's defence.

And Antonio certainly announced himself back in style against Burnley on Monday after suffering with a muscle problem since the start of April.

The striker scored two goals in the 2-1 win at Turf Moor to help his side keep the European dream alive and will no doubt play a pivotal role in today's match and at 13/8 to score anytime it is definitely worth considering.
