West Ham vs Crystal Palace odds: Manuel Lanzini tipped to score first at 8/1

West Ham United will be looking to keep their top six hopes alive going into the international break when they host Crystal Palace at the London Stadium.

The Hammers continue an impressive unbeaten run and find themselves sitting fifth in the Premier League. They have been tipped as an outsider to break the top six along with Leicester City.

Palace meanwhile are only a point behind their east London rivals with three wins in their last five matches.

The Pools spoke to football.london's Rob Warlow

Recommended bets:

  • Correct score 1-1 - 11/2
  • Manuel Lanzini to score first - 8/1

Win, lose or draw?

Draw ( 13/5 ). Both sides have done well so far this season, and sit in the top half of the table, but they may cancel each other out here with a score draw at 1-1 ( 11/2 )

Who's a good bet for 1st scorer?

Manuel Lanzini has a knack of scoring goals against Crystal Palace. He started on the bench at Bournemouth, but could feature from the start. And with four goals in five games against the Eagles, he will be confident of adding to that tally.

The Argentine is 8/1 to score first too.

Who's on the naughty step? (first card)

Wilfried Zaha. West Ham will look to try and frustrate the Palace star and keep him quiet. Zaha has reacted when frustrated before, and was booked in this fixture last season.

Referee Michael Oliver is averaging just under 3.5 cards a game so far in the Premier League so based on that average it looks like the 19/20 odds is a good shout too.

Who's on pens?

Mr Reliable - Mark Noble - for West Ham. But with Luka Milivojevic suspended, Palace will have a different penalty taker. Jordan Ayew to step up, if the Eagles win a spot kick.

Noble is 10/1 to score first or 7/2 anytime while Ayew is 17/2 to score first or 3/1 anytime.

Will your team keep a clean sheet?

No, as mentioned earlier, I can see both sides scoring, but I can also see it ending as a draw. With Palace's record you can see why The Pools have them down at 1/5 to concede and West Ham without Lukasz Fabianski means they are 2/5 to concede too.
