West Ham vs Crystal Palace LIVE - What time does it start, TV channel, team news, odds and predictions

There are two places but six points between West Ham United and Crystal Palace as the two teams meet on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham won in midweek against Cardiff City, and are now nine points clear of the relegation zone in 13th place.

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace slumped to a disappointing 3-1 defeat at rivals Brighton last week but did win their first home game of the season against Burnley last week; they’re in 15th place on 12 points. Follow the live action below.

Good morning and welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's 3pm Premier League games, with a busy day of action featuring five afternoon matches as part of an eight-game programme.

Once Bournemouth vs Liverpool has wrapped up in the day's early match - which you can follow live here - the action moves north as Arsenal host Huddersfield at the Emirates looking to record a 21st consecutive unbeaten result. Manchester United are also in action at 3pm as they welcome Claudio Ranieri's Fulham to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho's side in desperate need of a win after four league games without victory.

Burnley will look to try and climb out of the relegation zone as they face Brighton at Turf Moor, while Cardiff will take on a Southampton side being guided by new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl for the first time. Finally, West Ham and Crystal Palace collide in a derby at the London Stadium, before the day's late games take centre stage.

At 5:30pm, we head to Stamford Bridge for the big game of the day as Chelsea face Premier League leaders Manchester City, while the night-time kick-off between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur gets underway at 7:45pm.
Afternoon all.

Liverpool have just secured a 4-0 victory at the Vitality Stadium and go top of the table, and we now turn to this afternoon's 3pm fixtures.

There's about half-an-hour until kick off, and five intriguing affairs to keep us company, so let's get to all the team news...

TEAM NEWS - Arsenal vs Huddersfield

TEAM NEWS - Burnley vs Brighton

TEAM NEWS - Cardiff vs Southampton

TEAM NEWS - Manchester United vs Fulham

TEAM NEWS - West Ham vs Crystal Palace

Got all of that?

Good, good.

Let's pick out a few bits of key news.

Laurent Koscielny is back in the Arsenal squad as they seek a 21st consecutive game unbeaten...

Ralph Hasenhuttl has picked his first team since taking charge of Southampton on Thursday, with Oriol Romeu and Jan Bednarek earning opportunities from the start. The two were rather cast aside lately under predecessor Mark Hughes, but Hasenhuttl has trusted them to do the job in what could be a huge game at the bottom against Cardiff.

No Paul Pogba yet again for Manchester United, though Romelu Lukaku does return to the starting eleven. It seems Jose Mourinho has ditched the three-at-the-back he played both last weekend and against Arsenal in midweek.

No Glenn Murray (injured) or Shane Duffy (suspended) for Brighton today as they go to Turf Moor.

Joe Hart makes his 400th league appearance in English football in the Burnley goal this afternoon.

Lucas Perez capitalised on Marko Arnautovic's injury against Cardiff to secure back-to-back victories in the league for the first time in nearly two years for West Ham. He starts again and will hope to repeat his double dose against Crystal Palace at the London Stadium.

About five minutes until kick off around the grounds.

What does this afternoon have in store?
A quick bit of final team news from Old Trafford...

It is 3pm - kick off in the Premier League!

An early chance for Charlie Austin.

Matt Targett whips in a low cross and Austin can't quite find the far corner with his flick.
4 minutes - West Ham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Javier Hernandez also has a good early chance, with Wayne Hennessey reacting well to prevent the Mexican striker opening the scoring.
GOAL!
GOAL! West Ham 0-1 Crystal Palace (James McArthur, 6 minutes)

A free kick is delivered into the West Ham box and won by former Hammer James Tomkins, who flicks it on to James McArthur, lurking in space and able to jab it past Lukasz Fabianski to give Palace the early lead.
Manchester United 0-0 Fulham, 10 minutes

Ten minutes in at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot twice delivers into the Fulham box, but first Denis Odoi (with his head) and then Sergio Rico (with his gloves) are able to clear and claim to prevent any danger.
Jose Mourinho remonstrates in the early stages of Manchester United's game with Fulham.

Player to watch…

Lucas Perez: The Spanish striker scored his first league goals for 700 days on Wednesday, as his double helped the Hammers beat Cardiff City 3-1. The 30-year-old came off the bench to great effect, and will be pushing for a start in a team which has discovered some form in recent weeks. Perez signed from Arsenal for £4m in the summer but has been restricted to just six appearances from the bench in the league so far this season.
