West Ham vs Brighton: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news and h2h results today

West Ham are likely to drop out of the Premier League’s top four if they don’t overcome Brighton tonight.

Two defeats in a row have seen the Hammers drift towards the chasing pack and only goal difference separates them from fifth-placed Arsenal ahead of this midweek round of matches.

The visit of Brighton represents a good chance for David Moyes’ side to regain their footing, with the Seagulls winless in nine matches. But the visitors are unbeaten in all eight of their top-flight meetings with West Ham, with their last five match-ups all ending in draws.

Both sides will be hoping to get their star strikers scoring as Michail Antonio enters the game on a run of one goal in his last nine club games, and Brighton’s Neal Maupay is scoreless in seven.

Such is the tight nature of the mid-table, Graham Potter could end the gameweek as high as sixth with a win but as low as 14th with a defeat.

Date, kick-off time and venue

West Ham vs Brighton is scheduled for a 7.30pm GMT kick-off tonight - Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

The match will take place at the London Stadium.
