West Ham United 'name' hefty Jarrod Bowen price as Liverpool transfer rumours circle

West Ham United are reportedly ready to stand firm this summer in order to keep Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen joined the Hammers in January 2020 from Hull City for a fee of £22million and the winger has admirers at Liverpool.

However, The Athletic claims West Ham are insistent he is not for sale and it would take a fee in the region of £35m for the Londoners to begin to consider a deal.

The Hammers find themselves in a similar situation when it comes to midfielder Declan Rice who has been linked with Manchester United, and given his profile and age, West Ham reportedly value him at over £100million.

In this situation, West Ham posses the better hand of cards, given that Bowen is contracted at the Olympic Stadium until June 2025.

However, the interest from Liverpool won't come as a surprise to manager David Moyes.

“Jarrod’s a player where I think there’s room to improve,” said Moyes. “He can step up again. He’s got another level to go to and I hope we can do that in the next year or two.

“If he can continue with his form, if he can keep his goals tally up, he’ll not be levels away from being close to England squads."
