West Ham team vs Chelsea confirmed: Roberto and Sebastien Haller dropped, Michail Antonio starts

Goalkeeper Roberto and club-record signing Sebastien Haller have both been dropped by West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini for today's game away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The former Millwall stopper David Martin will instead make his first start for the club he joined in the summer, while Michail Antonio begins up front for the out of form Hammers.

Felipe Anderson is expected to play in the No10 role with captain Mark Noble and Declan Rice in a double-holding role.

West Ham have not won since first-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianksi was injured in September and they have taken just two points from the past eight games.

In his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon Pellegrini said that he trusted himself more than ever and insisted he was the right man to turn things around.

"Trust the way you work," he said. "Because you have a career behind you. You're not just starting a career.

"Continue to believe in what you know or which is the way you must find the solution. For me, it's clear. We need a good performance, not to change it all, and hopefully we can do it as soon as we can."

Chelsea are also much-changed, with Willian and Cesar Azpilicueta among five players dropped by Frank Lampard following Wednesday night's 2-2 draw away to Valencia in the Champions League.
