West Ham’s Diafra Sakho will not face any charges after being arrested in August on suspicion of making threats to kill and intimidating a witness.
The Senegal striker Sakho,currently out injured with a thigh strain, was questioned over an alleged domestic assault in August but a statement released by his management company on Tuesday confirmed that no action will be taken against him.
“Following allegations of assault and malicious communications made against West Ham and Senegal footballer Diafra Sakho in August, the police have confirmed there will be no action taken,” read the statement. “At the time, Mr Sakho vigorously denied the allegations and this matter has now been brought to an end following a police investigation.”
