The four West Ham players involved in the last 16 of Euro 2020 have continued their fine showing with progression into the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
The Hammers have been well represented at Euro 2020 with five players selected for their national teams with only Lukasz Fabianski of Poland not to see action for his country.
The remaining four, Vladimir Coufal, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Andriy Yarmolenko, have all played vital roles in leading their country into the last eight of the competition.
Yarmolenko and Soucek were given the honour of captaining their nations as they led out Ukraine and Czech Republic respectively.
Both countries were huge underdogs going into their clashes with Ukraine grabbing a last minute extra-time winner against Sweden and the Czech's defeating hot favourites Netherlands 2-0 in their clash in Copenhagen.
Soucek's club and country teammate Coufal was also in action for the Czech's facing a strong Netherlands team but once again helping his defence to another clean sheet, their second in four games at the tournament.
Yarmolenko continued his fine form with a delicious outside of the left-foot pass to provide the assist for Oleksandr Zinchenko's opener.
Ukraine went onto triumph 2-1 in dramatic circumstances when Zinchenko's cross was nodded home by Artem Dovbyk in the 121st minute of the match.
Rice was selected alongside Kalvin Phillips in midfield for England against Germany, his fourth start in succession at Euro 2020. The pair were praised by teammate Raheem Sterling as "animals" and described as "tremendous" by former England captain Rio Ferdinand after a fine performance.
The Hammers vice-captain was booked in just the eighth minute following a foul on Bayern Munich's Leon Goretzka, but showed fantastic discipline to shield the defence for the remainder of his time on the pitch before his 88th-minute substitution.
West Ham will have at least one representative in the semi-finals of the tournament, with Rice's England set to take on Yarmolenko's Ukraine in Rome on Saturday, July 3 at 8pm.
The Hammer's Czech duo will line up against Denmark at 5pm on the same day with the winner of that clash taking on either Ukraine or England at Wembley on Wednesday, June 7 in the second semi-final.
The fine showing from the Hammers during the tournament means that only seven clubs in world football have more players still involved in the competition.
Dynamo Kyiv and Manchester City lead the way with ten representatives each left in the tournament, Champions League winners Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund have seven players involved in the quarter-finals and Italian trio Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus have five.
