West Ham captain Mark Noble has revealed he may make a move into punditry when he finishes his playing career.
Noble, who came through the Hammers academy system and has been with the club ever since, currently has one-year to run on his current contract in east London, making his senior debut in 2004.
Canning Town native Noble will be 33 when his contract expires at the end of next season having penned an extension back in 2018.
When the midfielder does eventually retire, he will rightly go down as a club legend having racked up more than 450 appearances for the club already with more on the horizon as well as he continues his playing career.
While football, and much of the world, is on lockdown amid the Covid-19 pandemic that has seen the Premier League suspended until at least April 30, Noble took part in a Q7A on West Ham’s Twitter page to help us all pass the time.
The skipper was asked what his plans were for when he retires, if he will go into punditry or become a manager.
Noble admitted he didn't have any plans to become a manager just yet but that he could follow in the footsteps of another academy graduate, Joe Cole, and make the move into media once his playing days are over.
The 32-year-old said: "Probably a bit of punditry at times but at the minute, no plans to become a manager
"But you never know."
Noble revealed back in 2018 when he signed his current contract extension that he had yet to start taking, or even think about taking, coaching badges because he likes spending time with his family while the football is taking a break through the summer months,
