West Ham second half player ratings: Wilshere proves a point but Cullen struggles to make his

Lukasz Fabianski - 6

Didn't touch the ball in the second half before he was replaced by Roberto in the 64th minute.

Pablo Zabaleta - 5

Showed his experience on a number of ocassions in the second half before he was replaced. Good minutes for the veteran but Ryan Fredericks is clearly ahead of him in the pecking order.

Declan Rice - 7

Played a centre back for the second half and did well again. Kept Muto much quieter than Reid and Ogbonna managed to do. Played 90 minutes often doing the job of two or three players at times. Machine.

Angelo Ogbonna - 4

Couldn't handle Jacob Murphy whatsoever who roasted him twice, making the Italian look like a statue. Allowed Rolando Aarons to breeze apst him late on as well. Poor all game.

Aaron Cresswell - 5

Better than he was in the first half but that wasn't exactly hard to do. Got 90 minutes under his belt which will do him the world of good.

Carlos Sanchez - 5

Not as bad as he was against Manchester City. All that can be said really.

Josh Cullen - 5

Brought some urgency to the start of the second half as he played a lot higher up the pitch but was still on the periphery of things Replaced by Mark Noble midway through the second half.

Robert Snodgrass - 6

The Scotsman brought some much needed energy going forward after coming on at the break. Chased down everything and worked incredibly hard in the dreadful heat.

Jack Wilshere - 7

Immediately brought some class to the West Ham side and made them tick, spraying the ball around  and picking out his teammates. Most importantly though, he looks match fit and that could be crucial.

Felipe Anderson - 5

Not his best day all told. Struggled to have any sort of impact on the game though his last contribution before being subbed off was to have a header hit the crossbar. Looked tired, weirdly.

Michail Antonio - 6

Put himself about far more than Javier Hernandez did and played the striker role well, linking up with his midfielders. No real chances of note but looks a decent backup striker in all fairness.

Subs

Roberto (for Fabianski, 64') - 5

Couldn't keep out Longstaff's effort which was ruled out for offside anyway.

Grady Diangana (for Anderson, 64') - 5

Put himself about and had a couple of good dribbles but nothing spectacular.

Mark Noble (for Cullen, 64') - 6

Threaded a wonderful pass for Zabaleta but the pull back was cleared. Patrolled midfield at his own pace, West Ham are better when he's in the team.

Ben Johnson (for Zabaleta, 72') - 6

Looked very comfortable in his preferred right back slot. Loves a crossfield pass and wasn't intimidated throughout his 20-ish minutes on the pitch.
