West Ham's official club shop has taken down the option to purchase adult unsponsored shirts for the club's newly-launched home and away kits for the 2019/20 season.
The new threads were launched on Thursday morning to a massively positive reception from the Hammers fanbase, who loved the new gear produced by Umbro.
Along with the usual shirts that you could buy that came with West Ham's principal sponsor Betway emblazoned across the front, there was also an option to have an unsponsored shirt for both the home and away kits available to pre-order at a cost of £55.
But come Thursday afternoon, the shirts have disappeared from the online store as an adult selection and are now being classed as U18 shirts, but still available in adult sizes from small to XXL.
That has always been the case previously with Hammers kits that U18 shirts came without sponsors on. Betting firms like Betway are not allowed to sponsor youth teams or replica shirts sold in children's sizes.
So now seemingly, things have gone back to type as you can see in the picture above, the shirts have been rebranded as an under 18 away shirt, not an adult one.
It's the same for the home shirt too, which was originally available as an adults purchase unsponsored for £55 but is now only available as a U18 shirt.
