West Ham are waiting to hear if Irish striker Mipo Odubeko can play in the FA Cup this weekend after testing positive and then negative for Covid-19.
The Tallaght teenager had been in David Moyes’ plans for the fourth round clash against Doncaster Rovers.
Odubeko, 18, has been a prolific scorer for the Hammers underage sides and made his bow off the bench in the FA Cup third round win away to Stockport County.
Moyes has ‘big hopes’ for the Republic of Ireland youth international - but is set to be without him tomorrow.
The West Ham boss said: “Mipo had a positive test, but the difference is he has come back and now had a negative test.
“So we’re a little bit in the dark and we’re waiting on the doctor to tell us what is correct but he has missed the best part of a week’s training so that is where we are with Mipo.”

Moyes has a striker crisis on his hands and a bid for Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri was turned down.
Interest in Boulaye Dia of Reims, Montpellier’s Gaetan Laborde and Bournemouth’s Joshua King has yet to amount to anything.
But Michail Antonio is back in form after two months out and bagged winners against Burnley and West Brom in the last week.
