West Ham's visit to Spurs for their London derby later this month will go ahead as scheduled on March 20 with an 8pm kick off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs were beaten in a penalty shootout by Norwich City in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday night. Had Jose Mourinho's side gone through in midweek to the quarter finals then the match against the Hammers would have been moved.
The sixth round games are slated to take place on the weekend of March 20 so the original fixture between the two old rivals would have had to have been moved.
But as a result of Spurs being knocked out, the match will now take place as planned on a Friday night in north London which is sure to be a feisty affair between two bitter rivals.
West Ham have visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just once so far since it opened last year but did become the first team to win there, and score a goal as a visiting side, last season when Michail Antonio's goal was enough to secure a 1-0 win.
Mourinho's first game in charge of Spurs having replaced Mauricio Pochettino earlier this season came at London Stadium and his charges secured a narrow 3-2 win in east London with the home side scoring twice in the final 15 minutes.
The Hammers have two other matches to get through before then though as they face Arsenal at the Emirates this weekend before hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers at London Stadium the following Sunday, both in the Premier League.
Spurs take on Burnley this weekend in the league then visit RB Leipzig in the Champions League next midweek, then host Manchester United in north London before West Ham come to town.
