Fabulous stop in the build up to Wycombe’s goal which he could do nothing about with the rebound fired past him. Subbed off with 20 minutes to go to give Joseph Anang a run out. 6
Ben Johnson
Headed wide a tough chance from Mark Noble’s corner. Defensively sound throughout. Played the whole 90 and linked up with Bowen well as he did towards the end of last season. 7
Jamal Baptiste
Didn’t look out of place and looked comfortable up against the lively Wycombe forward Kashket. Played a fabulous raking pass for Antonio. Made a fantastic challenge on Kashket just after half time, perfectly timed in the box. Impressive. 8
Angelo Ogbonna
Untroubled and unfussed. Barely any defending to do and what he did need to do he was supremely comfortable in doing it. 7
Arthur Masuaku
Smashed home and outstanding strike to give the Hammers the lead on five minutes rasping one off the crossbar. Had no defending to do at all . Bagged an assist for Bowen’s second of the game. Played left midfield for the final 20 minutes and got at Wycombe’s defence at will. 7
Mark Noble
Not really much of an involvement in the game as everything happened in front of him. Important minutes in the legs for what is his 19th pre-season campaign. Subbed on 70 minutes after a decent run out. 6
Josh Cullen
Showed some very crisp passing in the second half to get the Hammers moving after a sluggish start to the second 45. Looked composed in the middle of the park. 7
Jarrod Bowen
Caused all sorts of bother down the right hand side and Wycombe simply couldn’t cope with him. Had a couple of crosses blocked in good positions. Got a deserved goal three minutes before the break. Slotted home a second after the break and was a menace throughout. 8
Manuel Lanzini
Linked up well with Bowen in particular. Hilarious air kick but really should have buried the chance in all seriousness. Did so ten minutes later as he found half a yard in the box to fire into the bottom corner. Impressive after the break, passing was especially good. 7
Pablo Fornals
Cracked a fine effort off the post from range. Plenty of waspish pressing of the Wycombe defenders. Good energy levels as he showed towards the end of last season. 7
Michail Antonio
Played up front once again as Alan Irvine followed David Moyes’ lead and resisted moving him to back to the wing. Had a goal ruled out for offside and forced a good stop from Stockdale. Not much after the break and subbed off after 70 minutes. 7
