West Ham player ratings vs Wolves: Antonio, Soucek and Bowen star in emphatic win

Lukasz Fabianski

One good save from Neves was the sum of his first half. Had one offy moment in the second half in a mix up with Cresswell but a welcome clean sheet. 7

Ryan Fredericks

Looked a real threat whenever he ventured forward, his delivery from wide has improved dramatically from last season. Forced off just after half time through injury. 7

Fabian Balbuena

Exposed a couple of times by the lively Neto but stood up well for the majority. Especially good in second half. 8

Angelo Ogbonna

Shouted his way through proceedings as he usually does. Didn’t give Jiminez an inch all game. 8

Aaron Cresswell

Delivery was decent when he got forward but played a more restrained role as a third centre half. Corner was on a plate for Soucek to head home number three. Solid. 8

Arthur Masuaku

Beaten for pace just the once in the first half by Traore. Was excellent with the ball at his feet in tricky situations. Saw off Traore, who was replaced ten minutes into the second half. Pinpoint cross for Haller's goal. 9

Declan Rice

Patrolled the midfield like he owned the place. A couple of passes were inches away from setting Bowen free. Excellent. 8

Tomas Soucek

Saw two very good chances well saved by Patricio as he made his trademark bursts into the box from midfield. Capped off a brilliant game with the third goal of the evening though it was very harshly taken off him by the Premier League goals panel. 9

Pablo Fornals

Very quick thinking with a quick free kick led to the opening goal for Bowen. Woeful finish from ten yards with the goal at his mercy on the stroke of half time. Smacked the post before Bowen tapped in his second. Does that count as an assist? Excellent in the second half especially. 8

Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen scores his second goal against Wolves (Matthew Ashton - AMA/Getty Images)

Took his goal superbly, composing himself before curling past Rui Patricio to give the Hammers the lead.Right place at the right time to tap home his second of the game. Should have had a hat trick. 9

Michail Antonio

Had a fantastic first half where he was a complete nuisance and Connor Coady couldn’t cope with the Hammers striker. Outstanding for Bowen’s second, beating Coady then waiting for support to find Fornals. 9

Substitutions

Ben Johnson (for Fredericks, 48’)

Gave the ball away twice with his first two touches after coming on but settle down. Wasnt too troubled defensively. 6

Sebastien Haller (for Antonio, 87')

Came on, scored a goal. Not much else you can do as a substitute striker. 7

Mark Noble (for Bowen, 87')

Played right win for a bit which was...interesting. No rating.
