West Ham player ratings vs Watford: Antonio excellent & Noble superb as Hammers end in style

Lukasz Fabianski - 8

Made some routine saves in the first half before producing a frankly world-class one from Deeney right on half time. It was rieiculous, from two yards out as well and he gets an extra point just for that,

Ryan Fredericks - n/a

Picked up a hamstring injury in the early stages of the game, tried to soldier on but eventually succumbed to the problem and was replaced by Zabaleta on 25 minutes.

Issa Diop - 7

Good first half as he was kept very busy by Troy Deeney and Roberto Pereyra running from midfield. Much like his partner, completely unruffled after Holebas's red.

What happens with the Golden Boot if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ends level with Mohamed Salah?

Fabian Balbuena - 7

Very strong first half, won a number of aerial duels and made two important blocks in his own box as well. Untroubled after half time, especially after Watford went down to ten men.

Arthur Masuaku - 6

Rarely troubled defensively and got forward well but to be honest, didn't actually do much in the game. Just one of those where he didn't actually have to do anything.

Declan Rice - 8

Got overrun a bit early doors by the marauding Pereyra and tricky Deulofeu but quickly got his act together.  One moment in the second half saw him win three tackles within a couple of seconds while on the floor, superb work. Dominated the second half, played like he had a chip on his shoulder and really put himself about.

Mark Noble - 8

Brilliant solo goal put the Hammers in front on 16 minutes, sending Cathcart and Kabasele to the cleaners with one drop of the shoulders. Has hit such a rich vein of form towards the end of the season, slotted home the penalty

Manuel Lanzini - 7

Manuel Lanzini celebrates after scoring his team's second goal against Watford (Henry Browne/Getty Images)

Scored the easiest goal of his career on 38 minutes as he nodded home into an empty net after Antonio had battered the crossbar from 18 yards.  Substituted midway through the second half after a difficult afternoon but gets an extra point for the goal.

Felipe Anderson - 8

Not much to report in the first half as he didn't have much of an influence on the game. Completely different second half as he ran Watford absolutely ragged, was unlucky to hit the post with a sweet volley before Arnautovic tapped in the rebound. Borderline unplayable once the home side went down to ten.

Michail Antonio - 9

Lovely one-two with his captain led to the opening goal and had a huge part in the second. Shrugged off three Watford defenders before rattling the crossbar, Lanzini heading home the rebound. He's become crucial to this West Ham team with his energy levels and is always offering an outlet. Won the pebalty for the fourth goal as well. Superb.

Marko Arnautovic - 7

Didn't really see much of the ball in all honesty and was feeding off scraps for the majorty.  Had a couple of sniffs at goal in the second half but either took a touch too many or was shrugged off the ball. Netted the third goal for the visitors from a couple of yards out.

Substitutes

Pablo Zabaleta (for Fredericks, 25') - 4

Wretched backpass from Zabaleta allowed Deulofeu to nip in, round Fabianski and reduce the arrears. Bailed out by Anderson after being rinsed by the Spaniard. Played another dire pass to Doucoure that wasn't punished. Awful.

Jack Wilshere (for Lanzini, 67') - 6

Played some very neat passes

Carlos Sanchez (for Rice, 80') - N/A

Got some valuable minutes under his belt ahead of pre-season after eight months out injured.
