West Ham player ratings vs Spurs: Manuel Lanzini wondergoal rescues unlikely point

Lukasz Fabianski

Flat-footed for Kane’s goal. Brave at the feet of Son prevented a fourth. Not much he could do with any of the goals. Good save from Kane in the second half. 6

Vladimir Coufal

Had no idea whether to go with Son or Reguilon when Spurs attacked and the third goal came from his indecision. His cross was diverted in by Sanchez to make the scoeline 3-2. Good in the second half. 6

Fabian Balbuena

Shoddy for Son’s opener, inexplicably showing the South Korean inside on his stronger right foot inside of a minute. Never looked comfortable throughout the 90 minutes. Pulled a goal back late on. 5

Angelo Ogbonna

Better than Balbuena but even the Italian, such a solid player over the last 12 months, looked off his game.Booked. 5

Aaron Cresswell

Like his fellow defenders, couldn’t get to grips with the front three of Son, Kane and Bergwijn. Excellent ball in for Balbuena's goal. 5

Arthur Masuaku

Some absolute hospital passes in the first half put his team under unnecessary pressure. Crossing was poor. 5

Declan Rice

Nutmegged by Harry Kane for Spurs’ second and like Soucek was badly overrun. Played some lively passes after half time as he tried to get his teammates going. 6

Tomas Soucek

Looked a threat when he bombed forward but he and Rice were horribly exposed against Spurs’ midfield. Better in the second half than the first but not his best day in claret and blue. 6

Pablo Fornals

Wasn’t involved at all in the first half as the Spaniard barely touched the ball and when he did, he showed little quality on the ball. Spurned a glorious chance moments into the second half. A complete role-reversal from Leicester. 4

Jarrod Bowen

Pretty quiet. Saw plenty of the ball but got next to nothing out of Sergio Reguilon. Not his day. 5

Michail Antonio

Battled away but was far too often dragged out into wide positions where he could have no impact. Well marshalled by the Spurs backline. 5

Substitutes

Manuel Lanzini (for Fornals, 77')

Absolutely outstanding strike to rescue a point. Unbelievable strike. 8

Andriy Yarmolenko (for Antonio, 77')

Clever pass in the build up for Coufal's cross that led to Sanchez's own goal. 6

Robert Snodgrass (for Masuaku, 89')

Won the free kick that led to Lanzini's equaliser.
