West Ham player ratings vs Southampton as Pablo Fornals shines in 3-0 win

Lukasz Fabianski - The returning goalkeeper made a big save at 0-0 when Southampton were on top and was consistently dominant in his box throughout. Deserved his clean sheet, no wonder the fans were chanting 'Super Fab' whenever he made a save. 7

Vladimir Coufal - Mr. Consistent was as reliable as ever. Defensively sound and got forward when possible to support the excellent Jarrod Bowen. 7

Angelo Ogbonna - Cool, calm and composed. Copy and paste from most weeks, his return from injury has made a huge difference to West Ham and once again he played an important role in marshaling the defence and keeping Danny Ings quiet. 7

Craig Dawson - Won a couple of important tackles in the first half and was rightly applauded by the fans present for his performance alongside Ogbonna. 7

Aaron Cresswell - Solid display from the left-back, defended calmly, attacked well and threatened with his set-piece delivery. 7

Declan Rice - Took his goal superbly, after a fine run down the left-wing. Showed great composure to finish much to the delight of his manager. A fine way to cap off an excellent season. 7

Tomas Soucek - Got forward when possible but often bypassed with the direct running of Fornals and Bowen the greater threat. Not his best game for West Ham but did little wrong. 7

Pablo Fornals - An excellent showing from the Spaniard, took both his goals well and showed off his excellent passing ability. 8

Jarrod Bowen (off 84) - A surprise inclusion ahead of Said Benrahma and proved his manager right with his selection. Lovely turn and shot that fell to Pablo Fornals for the Hammers' opener and showed a willingness to run at the opposition. 8

Jesse Lingard - A good performance from the Premier League loan signing of the year, linked play well and key in the speed with which West Ham counter-attack. 7

Michail Antonio (off 69) - Looked to be carrying a slight foot injury as he came off the pitch. Held the ball up well and played a key role in Pablo Fornal's opener. A fine display to end an excellent season. 7

Subs:

Said Benrahma (on 69) - Had the chance to score his second of the season but smashed his effort into the side-netting when a pass might have been the better option, summed up his season 6

Mark Noble (on 84) - No real time to impact the game other than allowing Rice more freedom to get forward.

Issa Diop (on 90) - n/a
