West Ham player ratings vs Manchester United: Michail Antonio thrives as Declan Rice dominates

West Ham finally, and definitively, moved away from Premier League relegation danger with a thoroughly deserved win over Manchester United.

The only goal of the game came through Said Benrahma and thanks to a huge error from David de Gea, but the result was entirely fair.

Here’s how David Moyes’s side rated at the London Stadium...

Lukasz Fabianski 7

No spectacular saves but made all the simple ones, which was more than could be said for his opposite number.

Thilo Kehrer 6

Never fully convinces and too passive when Rashford cut inside to hit post.

Angelo Ogbonna 7

Breezed through the game against the ineffective Weghorst.

Nayef Aguerd 7

Covering pace was vital as United tried to release Rashford early. An excellent showing.

Aaron Cresswell 6

Given a torrid time by Antony on the left flank but gradually got to grips with the Brazilian.

Tomas Soucek 7

One of three back from illness after missing the Man City defeat in midweek. Hit the outside of the post and had a goal disallowed, before sickening collision with Wan-Bissaka.

Declan Rice 7

An unshowy outing on what is likely to be his penultimate League outing here, but still made a couple of chances with his runs into the box. The kind of presence the visitors were missing.

Lucas Paqueta 7

A couple of uncharacteristically poor passes blew early openings, and again on break late on, but found space between United lines well.

Jarrod Bowen 6

Not quite at his best but runs on the counter-attack stretched United and made space for others.

Michail Antonio 8

Another invaluable display, epitomised by brilliant run from inside his own half halted only by Wan-Bissaka’s slide. Return to form over the last two months has been terrific.

Said Benrahma 8

Scored a rather fortunate goal with help of De Gea’s clanger, then denied a stonewall penalty on half-time. Caused problems all evening.
