West Ham player ratings vs Everton: Diop and Ogbonna good, Haller and Lanzini poor

Darren Randolph

The Hammers' fourth goalkeeper to be used this season, making his second debut.  Looked hesitant at times from crosses. Wasn't really forced into too many saves in a flat encounter. 6

Pablo Zabaleta

Got up and down well, saw an excellent cross turned goalwards by Fornals but saved by Pickford.  Defensively he was very sound and is far more comfortable in a four than a five at the back. One of his better outings of the season. 7

Issa Diop

A solid first half defensively culminated in him putting the home side ahead by glancing home Snodgrass's free kick. Made a superb intervention after the break to stop Kean getting an effort on goal. Looked back to his best. 8

Angelo Ogbonna

Stout and resolute but was caught on his heels for Calvert-Lewin's equaliser as the striker beat him to the ball.  Some excellent interceptions and blocks in another good performance. Hammer of the Year so far by a long way. 8

Aaron Cresswell

One glorious cross in the first half should have been buried by Haller as the left back consistently had plenty of space to work in. Defensively solid, not much of a threat after the break going forward. 6

Declan Rice

Broke up the play time after time in the first half, didn't allow Everton to get past him and the Hammers back line often. A consummate display, he was never flustered and not a lot got past him at all. Recall him misplacing maybe one pass all game. 7

Mark Noble

Got around the grass in the first period, made plenty of interceptions and saw a lot of the ball as well. Battled brilliantly in the second half. 7

Robert Snodgrass

His delivery from wide areas and set pieces in the first half was fantastic and led to Diop's opener. Off the pace after the break, passing was suspect and the pace of the game caught up to him quickly. 6

Manuel Lanzini

Like Fornals, he pressed well in the first period but as a creative outlet, there was not much to report apart from a few slack passes. Maybe lucky to survive the hook instead of Fornals. Very little effect on the game 6

Pablo Fornals

Pressed superbly when Everton were in possession and forced a superb save from Pickford on the stroke of half time. Subbed off on the hour after an industrious performance. 6

Sebastien Haller

Had the two best chances of the opening exchanges, forcing one decent stop from Pickford.  Struggled throughout though, his touch was poor very often and never looked confident with the ball at his feet. Shrugged off it too easily as well.  Not his best day. 5

Substitutes

Arthur Masuaku (for Fornals, 60')

Played left wing as Moyes stuck with a defensive four. Didn't run at Seamus Coleman enough and wasn't really a factor in the game. 5

Albian Ajeti (for Lanzini, 84')

Put himself about - a bit too much as he got away with a potential red card for leaning his head into Holgate. 5
