West Ham player ratings vs Everton: Average all round, Anderson and Yarmolenko poor

Darren Randolph

Really good save from Richarlison at 1-0 and another from Sigurdsson at 1-1. Couldn’t do much with any of the goals. 7

Ben Johnson

Struggled up against Richarlison in the early going before improving. His link-up play with Yarmolenko wasn’t at its best though. Gave Iwobi too much space to get off a shot for the third goal that was tapped home by Calvert-Lewin. 6

Declan Rice

Moved to centre back rather than his usual defensive midfield position. Caught out by a ball over the top from Michael Keane for the opener and an unfortunate deflection for Richarlison’s goal. Didn't really look comfortable throughout though and shouldn't be back there again for the forseeable. 6

Fabian Balbuena

A couple of very bad errors in the first half weren’t punished. Looked frightened by Richarlison’s pace before the Brazilian was withdrawn. 5

Aaron Cresswell

Crossing was good and defensively he was OK. Average performance. 6

Mark Noble

Overrun in midfield in the opening period. Better after half time but a bit pedestrian. 90 ineffective minutes on his return to the starting lineup. 5

Robert Snodgrass

Couldn’t lay a finger on James Rodriguez defensively, the Colombian left him on his backside a couple of times. Made amends for that with a fantastic equaliser just 25 seconds after half time with a curling effort. Worked hard. 7

Manuel Lanzini

Flicked a header just wide in what was West Ham’s best chance of the first half. Spurned a good chance in the second period as well. Faded badly after the break. 5

Andriy Yarmolenko

Looked a threat in the first period when he had the ball at his feet but his reluctance to use his right foot stalled so many attacks. Poor after half time, almost looked disinterested and offered nothing. 5

Felipe Anderson

Tried to make things happen for the visitors in the first half but didn’t have much luck, he was the liveliest of the front three in the first 45. Different story after the break though, faded very badly and failing to shoot, miscontrolling the ball instead, summed up his lack of confidence. 5

Sebastien Haller

Starved of service but his hold up play wasn’t exactly brilliant either. Some of the passes into him were pretty hopeless. Forced one decent stop from Pickford but that was it. 6
