West Ham name their price for Nottingham Forest transfer to be completed

West Ham have reportedly put a £1million price tag on the head of Emmanuel Longelo if Nottingham Forest are to sign him before the deadline closes on Monday.

Reports earlier this week claimed the Reds were interested in the left-back as they continue to look at potential additions before the window shuts.

According to the EX-WHU employee, Forest have had a bid rejected of around £400,000 for the Iron's under-23 left-back with the Premier League side holding out for a six-figure fee.

Forest are currently short on viable left-back options with Max Lowe having just returned from injury which had seen midfielder Jack Colback play that position in his absence.

With the Reds making huge strides in their bid to force their way into Championship play-off contention, adding strength in depth in that position does make sense.

Forest had been linked with a move for Derby County's Lee Buchanan but the club's administrators, Quantuma, have no desire to let any Rams players move to the City Ground according to Sky Sports.

Longelo has made four appearances for the Hammers this season, three of which have come in the Football League Trophy, the other being in the Europa League.
