West Ham latest injuries and return dates as hosts could be without six players vs Leeds United

Leeds United take on West Ham United on Monday evening with the Hammers facing a number of injury problems going into the clash.

The Whites will be looking to react well after losing to Aston Villa last weekend when they travel down to the London Stadium to face an in-form Irons side.

However, for David Moyes, he has some injury concerns - including in the goalkeeper department - that he has to contend with.

Here is a look at West Ham's current injury list ahead of the clash.

Lukasz Fabianski

West Ham's first-choice goalkeeper may be fit to return to the side on Monday night, Moyes has said.

Bielsa provides a team news update

Fabianski missed last weekend's defeat to Manchester City after injuring his elbow in a training session.

Moyes said: "I think we’re pretty much as we were.

"Lukasz Fabianski hasn’t trained yet [this week], but he’s got a chance of playing."

The Poland goalkeeper has been a consistent figure for the Hammers over the years, so if he did miss Monday's game, then it could be a boost for Marcelo Bielsa's team.

Darren Randolph

Another goalkeeping injury concern for West Ham, with the number two shot-stopper receiving treatment during the loss to Man City.

Randolph replaced Fabianski in the line-up for the match at the Etihad Stadium but received treatment after hurting a recurring thigh problem.

“Darren Randolph’s got a little bit of a problem with his hip. He’s doing a bit of work in the gym," Moyes said.

“We’ve got a little bit of a consideration with both of our goalkeepers, but I’m hoping that I’ll have one of them fit for the game on Monday night.”

It is unclear whether the Republic of Ireland goalkeeper will be fit enough for Monday, but if Fabianski is ready, then Moyes is more than likely to opt for him.

Arthur Masuaku

The left-back is ruled out of the Leeds clash with a knee injury but is nearing a return to action.

Speaking at the start of last month, Moyes said: "Arthur has started jogging yesterday, so hopefully he's only a month or so away from being back."

The Hammers used Ben Johnson at left wing-back against City, with Aaron Cresswell at left centre-back in a defensive trio.

Ryan Fredericks

Fredericks picked up a minor groin injury against Manchester City last weekend and Moyes is still unsure whether the right-back will be ready for Monday.

"Fredericks picked up a groin injury which is not serious, it's touch and go, so we'll have to see how he is after training today," the Irons boss said.

It looks as if the 28-year-old will need a late fitness test before being in consideration for the squad.

Vladimir Coufal has been used on the right side of a five across midfield and the Czech full-back and has done a fine job for Moyes.

Angelo Ogbonna

The West Ham centre-back will miss Monday's clash with Leeds through an ankle injury.

Ogbonna currently has no return date but did not require surgery on his foot, which is good news for Hammers supporters.

Moyes said on February 12: "My understanding is it doesn't need surgery, so that's a good thing, but it's getting checked by the specialist and I might know more in the next few days."

Andriy Yarmolenko

Yarmolenko is set to miss the game with a knee problem.

The Ukrainian winger has been out for almost a month now through injury and there is currently no specific return date.
