West Ham keen to sell Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson to boost summer transfer kitty

David Moyes is keen to move a couple of big names on at West Ham this summer in order to finance his spending.

Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson will both be able to leave the club before next season after under-performing this term as Moyes looks to freshen up his Hammers squad on a tight budget.

Meanwhile striker Albian Ajeti, who is yet to start a Premier League game following his £8million move from Basel last summer, is closing in on a loan move to Scottish champions Celtic.

After an encouraging end to the season, with a run of one loss from their final seven games, Moyes is looking to kick on with some canny additions this summer, but has warned that after a couple of years of big spending, money will not be as readily available this time around.

"I think you have got to remember that the club spent £200million [recently]," Moyes said. "We'll try and add to it if we can, if we can't we'll go with what we've got and there are a lot who can improve and a lot who have since lockdown, Micky Antonio is an example of that. We'll try and get the best out of the players and if we can add to it we will do."
