West Ham return to Premier League action following the international break this weekend as they host champions Manchester City at London Stadium, with their injury list shortened ever so slightly thanks to the return of both Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll.
The pair have been struggling with ankle injuries, with Carroll out of action since pre-season and Wilshere undergoing surgery in September, but are back in full training with the former having featured in a behind-closed-doors game against Brentford during the break.
Summer signing Ryan Fredericks has been dealt a blow, out until 2019 after sustaining a fibula injury in the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield, while Winston Reid, Manuel Lanzini, Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko all remain on the long-term absentees list.
Captain Mark Noble will return from suspension this weekend, though Robert Snodgrass is suspended having picked up his fifth caution of the season at Huddersfield.
